Free teaching materials at your school visit
During the visit, students receive the scavenger hunt or one of our booklets and a pencil from us. So you don’t need to print anything. Would you like to view the material in advance or use it in the classroom? You can view and download everything online below.
Search expedition
One sheet of tracing paper with photos of small details from the models. Children look for the details in the museum and tick off what they have found. Almost nothing needs to be read, so it is also suitable for the very youngest.
Discover booklet with Luisa
Together with Luisa, children explore the museum. With searches and questions, partly multiple choice, they learn about things like Amsterdam on stilts, the Zaanse Schans, the Vondelpark and the Anne Frank House.
Task book
A workbook with 23 in-depth questions, divided into three levels. About Amsterdam in 1275, the Golden Age, the Second World War, the crackling riots, Pride and the colonial past. Suitable for 8th grade, secondary education and the MBO.
First, come and see for yourself?
Teachers are warmly welcome to visit the museum free of charge in advance. Mail to groepen@miniatuurmuseumamsterdam.nl On which day you would like to come, we will add your name to the guest list. More information about a school visit, prices and booking can be found on the Education page.
