About the Miniature Museum Amsterdam
Soon to open in the heart of Amsterdam is Miniature Museum Amsterdam, a new and attractive museum that tells the history of the city through beautiful miniatures. Visitors here will take a compact time travel through Amsterdam, from the Middle Ages to the present day.
We work with a small, enthusiastic team that together provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Then this internship is for you!
As Marketing & Communications intern. Support our team in increasing the visibility and visitor numbers of the Miniature Museum Amsterdam.
You will collaborate on marketing campaigns, ticket sales, group arrangements and public promotions. You will also be given the freedom to think about creative ways to reach new target groups from tourists to Amsterdam residents.
What you will do
- Participate in the development and implementation of marketing and communications campaigns
- Manage social media channels and help create content (text, images & video)
- Maintain contact with partners, hotels, travel agencies and tour operators
- Participate in promotions, newsletters and PR actions
- Assist in the organization of events and press moments
- Creation of presentations, press materials and promotional materials
- Thinking about creative ways to make the museum visible to a wide audience
- Analyzing visitor numbers and preparing reports
Who we are looking for
- You follow a college education in Marketing, Communications, Commercial Economics, Arts & Economics or similar field
- You are enthusiastic, structured and results-oriented
- You have a sense of branding, storytelling and visual communication
- You write fluently in Dutch (English is an advantage)
- You are independent, eager to learn and not afraid to take initiative
- You have an affinity for culture, heritage or tourism
